About me
I have obtained a master's degree in psychology at the University of Tartu and I am a licensed school psychologist (level 7). I have been active in the field of psychology for the past 10 years and during that time I have done research as a developmental psychologist and practiced as a psychologist in the Estonian educational and social system. I am a junior lecturer of developmental and school psychology at the University of Tartu and I belong to the Estonian Association of Psychologists and the Estonian Association of School Psychologists.
I am committed to continuous professional development. In my work, I use the knowledge and practical skills acquired in training in motivational interviewing and solution-focused brief therapy and introductory courses in cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy.
I have completed EMDR therapy level 1 and level 2 training and I am currently participating in supervised practice. Additionally I have participated in EMDR child and adolescent level 1 and level 2 trainings. I have participated in several shorter trainings (play and creative therapy interventions, mindfulness practices, trauma-informed approaches), which have raised awareness and deepened practical skills for conducting interventions with different target groups.
I work with children, adolescents and adults.
I work in Estonian and English.
